NEW BARN/GARAGE

The assignment for a client in Hellevoetsluis, was to provide the design and necessary documents for obtaining a building permit, in order to built a new backyard barn/garage by himself.

The client needed a building permit to be able to use the entire width of his backyard. After consideration the decision was made not to use the entire width and keep a small pathway along the new wooden barn/garage. The surface area of the new barn is 30 m2, with a height of 4.5 m. The wooden barn has space for one car, a workspace and storage space in the attic. There is the possibility to expand in the future, by replacing the current roof with a higher roof and dormers.
