Integral vision, strategy and design

In Macharen there are fewer and fewer communal facilities where people can meet. The football club and playgroup are gone and the primary school will close. Residents can meet each other in Community House De Bongerd, but also in several other places in Macharen.

In Macharen we made the connection between the emotional value for the villagers with what should be created in the area. We have carried out the largest part of the 'Meeting in Macharen' project online and with success! There is unanimity due to the open participation process threw De Plekkenmakers' Dromenlab and MaakLab. For the realization of a new community house, we are going through two parallel processes together: the design process and the organizational process.
