POP-UP INITIATIVE PLEINGOED ZIERIKZEE
PleinGoed 2015 is a Pop-up summer event around the Tower of Zierikzee. The church square is filled with recycled objects to expose the beauty of Zeeland and highlight the world championship of underwater photography, held in the Netherlands 2015.
The main object is the eye-catcher: a pavilion with a surprise. To raise awareness of the tides of the sea, there is a lightshow projected on a dome (artwork shaped as a jellyfish ). The next object is a world of islands and ' floating ' rafts, inspired by the topic of underwater and stimulates children in an interactive and educational way. SunSeats and LoveSeats are partly inspired by the beachbenches in the past. They bring inspirational cultural heritage in the spotlight and are embraced by tourists and visitors as ideal picknick spot.
PleinGoed is a sustainable initiative, which stimulates the activation of a space, by creating a lively square and bringing people together.
