ENTRANCE AND INTERIOR DESIGN OF PURE HOME COLLECTIONS, NOW PURE FURNITURE

Design of a representative entrance for Pure Furniture. Pure Furniture is a leading brand specialized in authentic and high quality vintage-style furniture, that is guaranteed to enrich any space with timeless elegance and unique character.

The organization wanted a representative and functional entrance for the new showroom in Hillegom. The shape and colors of the materials refer to the logo/brand of Pure Home Collections. The new entrance is the final piece of the overall redesign of the existing warehouse. The building was difficult to access and had no appealing entrance.

To ensure that the new entrance stood out against the fully black-painted shed we covered the new steel structure in sheets of Corten steel, giving it a rich orange color. The Corten steel cladding surrounds the diamond-shaped structure, pitching upwards at the corners to cantilever on two sides. The partly-transparent panels are perforated, in addition to the robustness of the exposed structure, to provide a natural transition zone.

Besides the extension of approximately 2 meters, the interior was also undergoing a redevelopment. The request for the showroom, in addition to the exterior, was to design the bar and reception counter. The complete entrance experience is thus a first reflection of the company. The key words were: Pure, robust, natural, sustainable, timeless elegance, unique character and high quality. This resulted in a robust design of the reception counter and bar in oak and lead. The combination of colors and the use of raw natural materials created a real eye-catcher. The program for the showroom are a reception area, the showroom spaces, a walkway with a stage, storage and offices, next to the entrance/reception and bar/restaurant.
