SWIMMING POOL DESIGN

The assignment for a camping site, was to design a swimming experience, which had to contribute to the distinctive character of the holiday park in a surprisingly natural environment.

The building has a 5 lanes pool of 18 meters with spacious platforms on the southside, a tube slide, a children's pool and spacious changing rooms.
The building is inspired by a butterfly in the design. The sloping and flat roof rises to the south, resulting in a high prominent front façade for more daylight and an open entrance.

The swimming pool, together with the reception, a water park and theater, is the central location of the holiday park. It will be the eye-catcher on arrival and a meeting place for guests, who seek pleasure and tranquility in a natural playground.
