A great idea is not the same as a feasible plan

We helped 15 residents to translate their dreams into concrete plans that make meeting in the village possible. In 8 weeks, 3 teams worked on meeting places, an activity program and places for youth that are being developed together with the youth.

We supported the teams in realizing their initiative in a weekly coaching session and a support day, during which experts from the local network advised them. On the 3rd of July, we concluded with a festive closing event where the teams proudly and enthusiastically presented their plans about meeting at three places in the village to the village!

We look back on a successful process. We made the connection between the emotional value for residents and what should come in the space. This provided new initiatives, connections and opportunities for the village of Macharen.
