Parkweg becomes safer due to a new layout

The Municipality of Schiedam has started renovating Parkweg to make it clearer and safer. The lanes are arranged differently. Cyclists and car traffic will each have their own lane. The work consists of removing the existing asphalt and re-arranging the parking spaces, bicycle paths and footpaths. Finally, the new street work and asphalt pavement will be installed. This also tackles flooding.
